I love finding beautiful things. On the beach, in the forest, wherever I am. I find good conversations, grass glittering in the sunlight, magical reflections in the water, shells of all kinds, and of course, always and again: stones. When they were no longer lying wet and shining on the beach, but inconspicuous when I unwrapped them at home, I was always disappointed. I'm all the more excited that I had the courage to start grinding my souvenirs, shell limestone from the Alps, on an old knife grinding machine. Soon, the machine no longer met my needs, and I bought a professional gemstone grinding machine. I now mostly grind my large, rounded stones, the cabochons, myself, and I find it particularly interesting to look for unusual, special shapes or color variations. Because every stone is different. Finding and revealing its special features beyond perfection is my passion.
